SALT WATER
When angling in salt water, consider using aluminum pliers or pliers with a black oxidized finish for added protection against the elements. For longevity in salt water be sure to rinse your pliers in fresh water and apply a little oil.
METAL
The Bullet Head, Chain Nose and Barracuda pliers are made with 410 stainless steel with a Rockwell hardness of 45 on the cutters. The Typhoon is made of anodized aluminum.
